European Capital of Culture GO! 2025 – Cooperation for cross-border work in the two areas

On 9 January 2025 the Strategic Cooperation Agreement between the EUROPEAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE 2025 - ECOC2025 and EURADRIA CROSS-BORDER PARTNERSHIP ITALY-SLOVENIA came into force! Thanks to this cooperation the labour market area is developed, increasing mutual visibility and the dissemination of targeted opportunities within the cross-border area. The One-Stop-Shop EURADRIA and the digital platform Borderless Wireless are ready to share all useful information on cross-border jobs!

Mapping Cross-Border skills involving Employers: Building & Construction sector between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Slovenia

We are happy to officially announce the release of the new compendium b-solutions: Solving Border Obstacles: A Compendium 2023-2024, including the case n.16, Mapping cross-border skills involving employers: Building and Construction. The new collection includes 34 cases of cross-border obstacles analysed under the b-solutions initiative between 2023 and the first six months of 2024, concerning domains such as transportation, education, and labour market.

Expanding the cross-border dimension in a macro-regional perspective: Friuli Venezia Giulia and Carinthia

A Compendium 2022-2023 which includes the cases “Mapping cross-border skills involving employers: Mechatronics” and “Mapping cross-border workers and labour market between FVG & Carinthia”. The compendium is accessible via the AEBR online library.

EURADRIA is an Associated Partner of the Interreg CROSSTERM project!

The goal of the CrossTerm project is to improve the quality and efficiency of language services in public administration by creating joint strategies, models and tools for the standardization of legal-administrative terminology in the languages ​​of the program area, and thereby promote their more consistent and effective use. By preparing a joint strategic document, the use of project methodologies and results will be ensured even in the long term.

EURADRIA Cross-Border Hackathon 2.0

The “CROSS-BORDER HACKATHON 2.0” took place on 25 March 2024 at the GO!Center in Gorizia, the final event of “EURADRIA 2022-2023”, a project co-financed by the EaSI program (EaSI – EURES – Cross-border partnership and support to cooperation on intra-EU mobility for social partners and EEA countries) of the European Union. “CROSS-BORDER HACKATHON 2.0” as an opportunity for discussion and comparison with experts on the topics of job mobility, social security, cross-border cooperation, cohesion and resilience within the EU.

EURES in cross-border regions: visit the dedicated section on the EURES portal!

In 2024, 2025 and 2026, 6 cross-border partnerships, involving 8 countries receive ESF+ funding: Spain and Portugal, France and Germany, Italy and Slovenia, Belgium, France, Germany and Luxembourg.

  In addition, a number of other partnerships are active without EU financial support.

First bilateral cooperation meeting between EURES ITALY, EURES CROATIA and EURADRIA

On 20 December 2023, the National Coordinators of the EURES Italy, EURES Croatia and EURADRIA networks will meet to start a new cycle of joint collaboration in the context of the cross-border labour market. A work plan that between 2024 and 2026 will see EURES and EURADRIA engaged in launching actions to support the mobility of cross-border workers, cooperation, recruitment and activities related to data collection.

European Citizenship, Institutions and Policies: UNIUD’s new master’s degree course is underway

Graduates will be qualified to act in the European space in the public and private sectors where the globalizing legal, political and economic dynamics intersect needs that emanate from the specific identities of the various territories, starting from the regional and macro-regional one: impact of European legislation at the local level (national, regional, urban), European funding programmes, mobility of workers within the EU and Europe in general. Graduates will be able to carry out roles in the management of transnational legal, economic and social interactions in the European area, both at a corporate and commercial level and at an institutional and political level.

The first Cross-Border Hackathon (DG EMPL-UNIT E1), organised by EURADRIA with the participation of the European Commission, the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), the National Coordination Office EURES Italy (NCO EURES Italy-ANPAL), the National Coordination Office of EURES Slovenia (NCO EURES Slovenia-ZRSZ), the Italian National Cohesion Agency, the European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation EGTC GO, the EU Strategy for the Adriatic Ionian Region (EUSAIR), the Alliance of European Cross-Border Citizens (AEBR/MOT/CESCI).

Mini-twinning action between EURADRIA and the Cross-border partnership North Portugal/Galicia
